becomes remains Human
After 18 years of being web.burza we changed our name. We both became and remained Human — an interaction company.
How do you pronounce Burza?
The first and foremost reason that started the whole process was our inability to explain the pronunciation of our name to non-Croatian clients. Hi, we’re from web.boorza, we do websites. It wasn’t easy, we needed a change, and changes are the hardest.
After months of research, focus groups and testing we’ve realized that the right identity was sitting right in front of us. Human. It’s all we’ve been doing for the last 18 years. Everything we do, we do it with users in mind, real humans. On top of that, even though our products and services are digital, we’re just a bunch of flesh and bone humans. We love what we do and have fun doing it. It reflects our company’s culture and humans that work here — employees. And then there are our clients. Humans who sometimes did confess to enjoying our company.
Expanding the service horizon
Eighteen years ago we started making websites. The technology was different in those days and we had very limited capabilities in innovating the web. Knowing all the tools and practices allowed us to be in top position. It was all about tech.
Nowdays the focus has shifted. Websites are still popular but so are mobile apps. Technology is truly cutting edge, and we believe that the true advantage in such an environment is looking back to the users. Behind those screens there are always humans - typing, swiping and enjoying themselves. True value for everyone lies in understanding them.
We are Human. We’re an interaction company. Our focus is on interactions between humans and computers by recognizing patterns, molding user experiences, designing interfaces and developing software. That’s the greatest value we can offer.
Human makes mistakes
Our approach was always a little bit different, a little bit more human. We enjoy our little quirks and our clients tell us they love them too. We make websites, mobile apps, API’s, anything that allows interaction between humans and computers.
We also make mistakes. We don’t shove them under the rug. We laugh, embrace and learn from them. Our website is currently in development. It’s full of small imperfections we’ll fix over the next few days.
In the following weeks we’ll keep you posted on the progress. On our process, our identity, our rebranding, our story of becoming and remaining Human.
