Table tennis table
It has almost nothing to do with our culture. Why do we have it then?
Well a) we had one laying around and b) our CEO used to play as a kid and c) we had this big room in our basement. So why not, we just put it there.
We immediately started playing each day after work. It got pretty competitive. Everyone wanted to beat the boss, devs wanted to be better than designers. People started to get better. We had tournaments and it was great.
Then time went by and it kinda blew off. Little by little we stopped, but the table is still down there.
We now use it as a conference table and clients sit around it at meetings. It’s weird for some of them, but apparently not too weird. We might take it out tomorrow, we might not. It doesn’t define us or our culture. At least so we think.
